Condolence: Cappy was my PhD advisor and mentor and friend. He was a constant source of positive energy, wisdom, humor, knowledge, encouragement, and so much more. Because of him, my career was launched and nurtured - more importantly, because of him, I'm a better human being. He is a wonderful example of a caring, honest, brilliant scholar and teacher; I hope that I can reflect a little bit of the light that shines so brightly from his life and his memory, but I'm comforted by the thought that so many of us were blessed by that light, and I won't be reflecting it alone. I am so sorry for his family and friends who feel his loss, but so glad to be a part of the community who know and love him.
